Precautions Before Booking and After Your Treatment & Frequently Asked Questions
・If you have a viral or infectious disease, be sure to see a healthcare provider.
Please note that even if you have received instructions from your doctor, you should still disclose this information when making your appointment.
・If you have a mental health condition (such as bipolar disorder or schizophrenia) and wish to receive treatment, please be sure to inform us of this before making an appointment. We may ask you to bring an accompanying person or may need to discuss potential risks with you.
(Regarding Unpredictable Risks: In past cases, some individuals with bipolar disorder who underwent the treatment experienced a prolonged manic episode due to improved blood flow, which actually disrupted their mental balance.)
Please note that while our treatments are extremely gentle, they reduce the pressure on your body, thereby improving blood flow throughout your entire body.
In most cases, this will lead to improvement, but depending on the type and stage of the mental illness, it could also pose a risk. Please also review the “Precautions Before Making an Appointment” and “Frequently Asked Questions” sections.
The body's reaction after the treatment.
In rare cases, some people may experience a strong physical reaction after the treatment.
Specifically, these include feeling sluggish or heavy, having a longer-than-usual period, developing a rash or breakouts, and experiencing new pain, among other symptoms.
It is believed that this occurs because the body’s deep tissues relax, causing more waste products than usual to be released into the bloodstream, which then manifests as a heavy or sluggish feeling, reactions in the excretory system, and immune responses such as rashes or breakouts.
In addition, because the body’s muscle tension balance undergoes significant changes, you may become more sensitive as you adapt to these changes, and new areas of pain may temporarily develop. The more severe the symptoms, the more likely you are to experience such reactions.
However, in any case, if you experience anything that could be considered a ”reaction,” please do not hesitate to contact us immediately. Depending on the nature of the reaction, we may ask you to come in sooner so we can assess any physical changes or your condition, and make any necessary adjustments to help you adapt to these changes as quickly as possible.
First and foremost, I prioritize ensuring that the body lands firmly and in a good position.
Reactions are most likely to occur when the body has accumulated waste, such as in cases where the patient has come for the first time, three times, or after a considerable period of time.
Risks of the procedure
Since the treatments at our clinic involve extremely gentle pressure—similar to a light touch—there is virtually no risk of physical injury caused by external force.
Please rest assured on that point.
However, as mentioned above, the deep tissues of the body relax, and the body’s overall balance changes significantly.
Therefore, please refrain from strenuous exercise for a few days after the procedure, and
Please be mindful to avoid consuming foods that are too stimulating for your body.
For example, stretching is an activity that applies stress to the body by stretching its tissues.
Applying strong force carries risks (especially after treatment).
Also, when scheduling your treatment, please choose a date when you are unlikely to be exposed to strong physical stimuli after the procedure.
After a treatment, your body is much more flexible and sensitive than you might think. Please keep in mind that if strong stimulation is applied at that time, your body will react more sensitively than usual.
What to wear during treatment
Please come to the treatment dressed as comfortably as possible without tightness. Please remove watches, jewelry, and other jewelry as much as possible. You will receive better results if you are in as neutral a state as possible. You may bring a change of clothes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How long does it take to get better?
A. It varies from person to person. It depends on the type and extent of symptoms affected, the body's own ability to heal, and the load it receives from its current environment. However, I have the impression that musculoskeletal pain (stiff shoulders, back pain, etc.) gets better relatively faster than symptoms related to internal organs.
Q. Does the procedure hurt? Do you use any instruments?
A. Everything is done with the hands. Basically, it takes the form of lying on your back and placing your hands softly on or under your body. It is extremely soft. It is recommended for those who are sensitive to stimulation.
Q. Is it really that soft and effective?
A. Softness is what makes it effective. The body puts up a barrier against strong stimulation, but is open to gentle stimulation. Also, by keeping the palms soft, the body's condition can be monitored, ensuring safety without finishing halfway or treating the wrong area.
Q. Is it effective for ○○?
A. Generally speaking, carefully adjusting the body leads to overall improvement. While results for specific symptoms vary depending on the individual and the situation, this approach is particularly effective in providing immediate relief for tension-related pain in general. Conversely, no direct effects can be expected for tissue tears, degeneration, calcification, viral or infectious diseases, or dental cavities. It is effective as a preventive measure to boost the body’s overall immune system.
Q. Does your insurance cover it?
A. We do not offer health insurance.
