About our treatment
Our treatment is a unique Japanese adaptation and refinement of osteopathic manual therapy.
The technique is further applied to the osteopathic technique called whole body listening, which finds the problem from the entire body, and confirms the relationship and influence relationship between the restrictions (rigidity and tension) of the body. This allows us to identify and treat a single point that is effective for the entire body.
The treatment is extremely soft. By making full use of the palmar sensation, the center of the rigid point can be captured and released. The ”center” can be narrowed down to a very small area, so it can be moved with very weak force. And because the force is weak, the body can be loosened without creating resistance.
While this treatment technique is far from dynamic thrusting, it is able to pinpoint problem areas with precision and make significant changes in the body.
The breadth and depth of the areas to be treated extend to areas that require a very high level of skill in osteopathy. In addition to the breadth of areas such as the cranium, face, throat, chest and back, extremities (up to the fingertips), and abdomen, the qualitative depth of muscles, fascia, bony substance, periosteum, blood vessels, visceral support ligaments, peritoneum, pleura, and nerves is an important feature of our clinic.
In addition, we also focus on the relationship between areas of excessive tension and areas of excessive relaxation, incorporating the yin-yang perspective of TCM, and use complementary and purgative methods, an approach that not only loosens, but also tightens. This is also utilized in whole-body listening, which allows us to search not only for excessively rigid areas but also for excessively relaxed areas on the membrane.
