Since we are able to examine the “order of influence” on the entire body, in principle, once a point is treated, the treatment is completed in one session and we can move on to the next point.

To be able to search where the problem lies

The entire body is connected from the tip of the toes to the top of the head by fascia and membrane tissue.

This is true for muscles (fascia), bones (periosteum), internal organs (pleura and peritoneum), and intracranial (dura mater and arachnoid), although the names change,

Because they are “connected” as a membrane, if there is a restriction (adhesion or tension in the membrane) anywhere, the restriction pulls on other parts of the body, just as pinching the edge of a bed sheet pulls on everything.

(As an example, this part of the meat is the membrane, by the way.)

As the membranes are pulled, they are compressed in various parts of the body, causing venous, lymphatic, and fluid retention.

This causes the body to accumulate debris (waste) and have more likely inflammation in the body.

And this can cause or aggravate a variety of symptoms, including stiff shoulders and back pain.

For more information on fascia, this NHK feature is very well organized, so please refer to it if you like.

At Seitai Tanigawa, trained palmar senses allow us to follow the membranes of the body as if scanning them, and to find the actual restricted areas throughout the body.

Our treatment area is extremely wide compared to that of a typical chiropractic or manual therapy clinic.

In contrast to general manual therapy clinics, which are limited in their approach to muscles and some joints, our clinic can loosen latent restrictions (stiff spots) in all muscles and joints, as well as ligaments that support internal organs, periosteum and dura mater, and all other parts of the body.

This allows for a broad and detailed balancing of the entire body. As shown in the reviews and treatment examples, symptoms that did not improve even in the hospital can sometimes get better!

In addition, although some may feel uneasy when they hear that the whole body is involved, the treatment is extremely soft, and when approaching the chest, including the heart and lungs for women, the patient is asked to place his or her own hands on top of them. For approaches to the uterus and bladder area, we perform the treatment by transmitting pressure from the lower abdomen, so there is no direct contact with sensitive points.

The treatment pressure is about the weight of a hand. As in a typical seitai (manual therapy) clinic, acupressure and thrusting are not performed .

This minimal force is sufficient to successfully guide the movement within the body, so that the treatment can be performed with little or no external force.

The procedure can be safely performed on everyone from 1 month old to 90s, from pregnant women to cats.

Dealing with difficult problems and symptoms

Collectively, it often makes a lot of things better.

To move forward without undoing it.

You don't have to go through it a lot and often.

The tensions in the body are reciprocal, and this has influence relationship like those of a parent-child relationship.

By releasing parental problems (e.g., stomach tension), child problems (e.g., stiff shoulders) will not arise.

Many manual therapy (osteopathic inc.) clinics are unable to examine this priority and therefore continue to treat the same areas over and over (because the child's problems continue to be created by the parent's problems, and therefore revert back).

At our clinic, the area to be treated changes each time.

The treatment to a single point is basically resolved only once, and once released, the area is basically irreversible, allowing the next step to be taken each time.

This allows

Even for difficult problems and symptoms, we can find a clue that improves the body, like unraveling a complicated thread.

In addition, since the points that have a greater range of influence on the entire body are treated, ⑤ they often collectively improve in various ways, and since they are treated in the order of their influence on the entire body, ⑥ they do not return to their original state and can move forward.

Hence, this leads to efficient improvement of the entire body, and we are able to create a state in which patients do not need to visit us as often.

The following is a transcription of the above image section (with supplements).

One of the most important characteristics of our treatment is that once an area has been treated, it will not return to its original state (unless it is damaged again). This is because we are able to treat from the point at the root of the influence by individually examining the relationships and influences within the body system.

In the example above, the stiffness around the liver is the most deeply affected point in the entire body. Therefore, by relaxing the perihepatic area, the stiffness around the liver will not reappear (because it is not under tension from other points of the body).

Conversely, for example, if you first loosen the left sacroiliac joint in the lower right of the figure, it will return to its original position (because of the arrows coming from the liver and right ankle, which are under the influence).”

*Note that this relationship and order of influence changes depending on the individual physical situation. It may be easier to understand if you think of a complex tangled thread. What I am trying to say here is that the order of the points to be treated is very important.

The following is a transcription of the above image section (with supplements).

Every time we take the next step. Advancing steadily, one step at a time. By treating the entire body from the highest priority/impact points, we can move to the next step each time. What this means is that the treatment points will change each time.

In the example above, if you first leased the liver, there the area is completed and next.

In this example, the tension around the liver is the most influential point for the entire body, so simply relaxing the liver area will simultaneously relax other points in the body.

After the liver is treated, the pressure/burden on the body is steadily reduced by relaxing the right ankle, left sacroiliac joint, and pericardium in order of priority (in this example).

In other words, once a procedure is done, "the point is not returning back”.

Individually, you can also look for locations related to specific symptoms or for points on the body that are associated with specific problems or performance.
